UPDATE November 12, 2021

Thanks so much for the many thoughts and prayers expressed when we shared the journey the 5 oldest girls from the former HOPE Orphanage in Haiti have begun.

In order to support them, and future students like them, Raising Hope Ministries is being created. RHM has been incorporated and is currently seeking status as a 501c3 non-profit organization. A Board of Directors is in place and the work for these students has already begun. Our website is under construction, and Facebook and Instagram are set up to help keep you informed and to provide you with a mechanism to be involved.

These girls have already expressed a desire to help other students that have the motivation, skills, and desire, but don’t have the resources, to experience opportunities like the ones they have received.

Our first request to you is to pray for these girls, this organization and the future students that will be lead to this program. Our second request is that you consider joining the team by supporting this journey financially. These students have both tuition and living expenses that need to be met and jobs for students in Haiti are non-existent. Right now, RHM does not have the ability to provide tax deduction information, but that will be rectified when we hear back from the IRS. Once that status is given to RHM, we can provide tax deduction information dating back to the date of incorporation (September 2021).

This is just the first step in a journey of faith, servanthood and compassion that these girls will eventually have the opportunity to lead.
